Andrew WoodResearch Director

Andrew joined RS Consulting in 1999 and now leads our Pensions and Public Policy research division. He has designed and managed many high-profile projects for government departments, regulators, public bodies, and the pensions and financial industries. Issues covered include policy evaluation, impact assessment, communications and new product development. His reports are required reading for ministers and captains of industry alike.

Bryan AtkinCo-Founder

Bryan co-founded RS Consulting in 1984. He has over 45 years' top agency experience and is well-known for his expertise in all aspects of industrial, commercial and institutional research as well as for pioneering new research techniques. Bryan is also a leading thinker on product development, channel management, pricing strategy, market segmentation, customer satisfaction and loyalty tracking.

Chris SteadJoint Managing Director & Finance Director

Chris has been our Finance Director since 2006, becoming Joint Managing Director in 2009. He is a qualified chartered accountant with over twelve years' experience of the research industry. His extensive financial management background includes senior finance roles at Taylor Nelson Sofres and the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.

Dominika WintersgillProject Manager

Dominika joined us in 2007 after working at two of the world's largest market research agencies. Her experience includes a large-scale international health study and various high profile social policy ventures, as well as numerous IT, logistics and telecoms projects. She has also co-ordinated fieldwork in the US and across Europe

Elke KagererProject Manager

Elke is an expert in a broad range of methodological approaches and sectors, managing quantitative and qualitative research projects for a variety of clients. She is a talented interviewer and moderator, equally adept with business and consumer audiences. She specialises in international research, particularly in the IT and logistics industries, and is expert in cutting edge online qualitative techniques.

Elke NeuteboomResearch Director

Elke has over 16 years' experience in international market research on both the client and agency side and is adept in advanced analytical techniques and customised reporting, particularly in measuring customer satisfaction. Since joining us she has been the lead on various leisure, retail, financial services, IT and other industry sector projects.

Karin HeathResearch Director

Karin joined us in 2000 following varied roles in market research in the USA, Egypt and the UAE. Her particular areas of expertise are international research design specialising in emerging markets, and focus group moderation in the IT, telecoms and, in particular, logistics markets. Karin has led on numerous international projects covering exploratory, branding and communication research as well as channel satisfaction.

Kasia GandhiResearch Director

With more than eight years' practical experience, Kasia is expert in all facets of qualitative research. Kasia specialises in design and implementation of global qualitative programmes, including product, brand and communication research. Her strategic and analytical thinking allows her to distil the most powerful and actionable insights that help her clients get the best use of qualitative data.

Kate AndersonDirector

With us since 1995, Kate has developed our expertise in researching consumer technologies in global markets. She is a highly experienced moderator and also a champion of combined methodologies, regularly directing programmes combining both quantitative and qualitative research across four continents. She led a major project for the Pensions Commission and has also moderated focus groups as part of the government's "Big Conversation" programme.

Kate DownerAssociate Director

In the 7 or so years she has been with us Kate has amassed a wealth of experience in both qualitative and quantitative projects, particularly in the technology, logistics, finance and advertising sectors, as well as large scale public sector studies for the Department of Work and Pensions.

Mark MayPrincipal (US office)

Mark is a consulting expert with great experience in the very broadest sweep of businesses and commercial issues, ranging from telecoms and wireless technologies marketing, mergers and acquisitions evaluations, to channels strategy for business-to-business products, all with a strong international focus.

Before his consulting career, Mark worked as an internal consultant for McMaster Carr, Inc., one of the nation's largest industrial distributors. Mark has an MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business, and a BS in Economics from Rockford College.

Martin MarineProject Manager

Martin specialises in online research. With a background in accountancy and finance his research experience includes spells for an international affairs institute and a specialist online research agency. Since coming to RS he has worked with both consumer and business audiences for leading IT, telecoms, FMCG and financial services brands. He also manages an annual buyer behaviour study for a global printer manufacturer.

Martin WoottonResearch Director

Martin runs our customer satisfaction group. He is has built an enviable reputation for his data analysis and interpretation skills as well as for his expertise in a wide range of innovative statistical and trade-off techniques. Martin specialises in IT and Telecom sectors, and his background before joining us in 2000 was with a major French telecoms equipment company.

Phil StubingtonJoint Managing Director

Phil has been with us since 1986, and a board member since 1996. He specialises in multi-country quantitative research projects, especially in the IT sector, with an emphasis on segmentation and market share. He also maintains our global universe model, which measures business, workplace and employee numbers in over 30 countries and is used for weighting survey data to market size.

Richard H.BarnesPrincipal (US office)

Since joining RS Consulting USA (formerly The Richmark Group), Richard has worked on a wide range of assignments in a variety of industries. He has extensive experience with trade-off methodologies (particularly Simalto Plus) and helping clients develop new products and services. Also he has worked with numerous start-ups and commercial/industrial distributors to evaluate opportunities and develop successful marketing strategies. Richard holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.

Sara SpinksAssociate Director

Since joining us in 1997 Sara has gained extensive experience in both qualitative and quantitative research within the Technology, Industrial (particularly Packaging and Supply Chain) and Logistics sectors. She is particularly skilled in combining methods (both innovative and traditional) to achieve strategic insight through complex, multi-country studies across developed and emerging markets.

K. Susan HeintzPrincipal (US office)

Sue is a results-oriented marketing executive with highly specialized expertise in:

  • Go-to-market strategy design and implementation
  • Sales channel development and management
  • New channel creation
  • CRM planning and process design

She spent her early career as a Senior Partner with a global go-to-market strategy consultancy, then joined a client, Avaya, as Vice President, Worldwide Channel Strategy. For the past five years, Sue has headed Channel Management Professionals, a consultancy focused on helping companies define and implement best practices across their channel systems. She has lived and worked in the U.S., Europe, Latin America and Asia. Sue holds a B.A magna cum laude in English, Economics and Philosophy from Loyola University and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

Victoria BoelmanAssociate Director

Victoria has been with us since 2002, bar an 18 month period as Market Research Manager for Macmillan Cancer Support. She is adept at social research with vulnerable audiences, investigating sensitive issues and ensuring that research meets stakeholders' needs. She specialises in projects requiring both quantitative and qualitative inputs on behalf of global corporates, charities and the public sector.
