Kate AndersonKate Anderson has been promoted to Joint Managing Director of the RS Consulting Group.  She replaces Phil Stubington, who has decided to step back from the role of Joint MD to focus on developing the Group’s strategic relationships with key accounts.  Phil will also lead the Group’s innovation programme, capitalising on the success of its award-winning research platform, e-luminate.

Nicaraguan footballSome great news from our friends at the Phoenix Projects in Nicaragua – “This year, thanks to donations from RS Consulting, we have taken on Mauricio full-time to concentrate on “educación física” structured programs for the children in both La Thompson and Alexis Arguello. 27/2/13 Battersea’s Oscar fundraiser

The 4th Battersea Academy Awards Guessing Game and Team Trivia Competition (BAAGGTTC) was held on Monday lunchtime.  Clayton Fussell hosted the event (so much more natural than Seth MacFarlane) at our Battersea HQ and used the opportunity to preview his new film Day Return.  Thanks to some wonderful home baking we raised £210 which will be sent to our friends at Phoenix Projects, Nicaragua, helping provide the children with a rounded education.

Today marks the launch of Talking Taboos – ‘talking self-harm’.  Co-ordinated by Cello Group and in conjunction with YoungMinds,  we conducted the research underpinning this report into society’s perceptions of young people who self-harm.  See the BBC report here.

Swiss ReOur sister company, Consensus Research, is proud to have conducted the primary research underpinning Swiss Re’s European Insurance Report 2012, Customers for Life.

09/12/12 – MRS Certificate – congrats to Aino and Arun

Aino Pietikainen and Arun Shrestha have both passed their MRS Certificates with flying colours in the results announced this month.

Aino was one of just two candidates to be awarded a distinction in both the Coursework Assignment and the Examination.

Well done both!

DWPOur latest research report for DWP has been published.  It forms the first part of an ongoing study which will measure the impact of the pension reforms on pension scheme charges over the next few years, as automatic enrolment is rolled out.

13/08/12 – Foosball for St Mungo’s

Our Battersea offices will be a quieter place after we donated our  table football to Portishead House, a St Mungo’s homeless centre in Westbourne Park.  Following recent property consolidation there was sadly no room for the table, and as long time supporters of the London based charity it seemed a perfect solution.  Have fun guys!

20/12/11 – Keeping FiT – Consumers’ attitudes and experiences of microgeneration

Consumer Focus, in conjunction with the Energy Saving Trust has published their report into consumer experiences of microgeneration systems. Research conducted by RS Consulting showed that most consumers with installed systems have had a positive experience but identifies lessons for future green energy policy development.

13/12/11 – MRS Research Award winner

Great news! At the  annual MRS Research Awards dinner last night Paul Cussell won the prestigious ASC Young Technologist of the year.  The award is recognition of his groundbreaking work in developing the innovative e-luminate online portal.  Congratulations Paul, and all the team who worked on e-luminate.

Macmillan have published Improving Access? Report on the implementation of the Cancer Drugs Fund and the development of a value-based pricing system.  The stakeholder research underpinning the study was conducted by RS Consulting, and the report has been widely commented on in medical journals and popular press.
